Hello from Gander!

Are you ready for the Autumn season? It’s a beautiful time of year. During the Fall season I will be preaching a series called “Walls”. We will explore all kinds of ideas and learning that the Scriptures reveal about walls.

This coming Sunday, October 11, is Thanksgiving Sunday. We will have our Worship Service at 10:30 am. We are encouraging you to bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank. Also, if you would rather, you can donate to the Community Food Sharing Association. For every $10 donated they can distribute $205 worth in donated food. Just go directly through their website https://www.cfsanl.ca/

If you happen to miss our service, or you are unable to attend in person you can also check us out on Facebook. Search Crossing Church Gander. We are also on Instagram and YouTube.

We are also excited to partner with Coldwater Junction to support a new organization in Gander called YANAinc (You Are Not Alone inc) that supports recovery for individuals and families dealing with addiction. There will be a Spaghetti Supper and Show on October 15. We are looking for people to be greeters, servers, and set-up or clean up crew. Please let me know how you would like to help!!

The following week we will begin our new programs with Tuesday night Bible Study and then on Sunday nights “Soul Cafe”. Stay tuned for more details!

Have a great week!

Pastor Kim
