What's On the Go for Wednesday July 22, 2026
Hello Crossing Church!
The Office hours for Pastor Andrew Porter, are Monday to Thursday 9:00 to 4:00 PM. You can also email him at andrew@thecrossingchurch.ca.
Pastor Andrew will be on vacation from August 1 - 17th. If you have any pastoral concerns during this time please contact Kim King or one of the other deacons. Any other concerns can be directed to one of the Board members.
The Deacon on Duty this week is Leo Ndabazaniye. If you have any concerns or would like a visit or a phone call, please feel free to reach out to Pastor Andrew through the church office or Leo.
Deacon on Duty for July 27 - Aug 2 is Maynard King.
Deacon on Duty for Aug 3 - 9th is Michael Knoll.
Deacon on Duty for Aug 10 - 16th is Donna Nolan.
Upcoming Events in July
Corn Boil at the Camp! A fun event for our 55 and over friends at The Crossing Camp. Saturday July 25th. Meet at the church at 10 am. For more information contact Reid and Esther Cooke.
Church Lunch - Sunday July 26th will be a BBQ immediately after the worship service. Please bring a salad or dessert to share.
Summer Mission with Douglas Baptist Church - A small group from Douglas Baptist Church (Fredericton, NB) will be arriving on July 25th.

At the St. John’s site this week:
This coming Sunday, July 26th, we will be continuing our summer teaching series: Tell Her Story. This Sunday we will be looking at Exodus 1. The title of the message is: Midwives to the Rescue!

Hello from Gander!
Here’s what’s going on this week. You will notice that we have paused some programs for the summer but stayed tuned as we look to have some other opportunities to gather over the summer.
If you happen to miss our service, or you are unable to attend in person you can also check us out on Facebook. Search Crossing Church Gander. We are also on Instagram and Youtube.
Sunday, July 26, we will have our Worship service at 10:30 a.m. This Sunday is also our Sharing Meal Sunday so please bring some food to share if you are able and plan to stay for lunch!.
Monday morning Prayer time on July 27 at 9 am. Please pray for the Douglas Mission team as they help in St. John’s and then head to Gander on Friday..
Here are a couple of other notes:
Conversation Café is paused for the summer.
A team from Douglas Baptist is planning to come to Gander from July 31-Aug 3. The schedule will be available on Sunday.
Oasis is taking place August 6-9 in Wolfville and I will be attending this event along with other delegates from the church. Unfortunately the scheduling of the event and flying back home means I will not return to Gander until Sunday afternoon.
There will be no Morning Worship service on Aug 10 here in Gander.
